Either the behaviour has changed or (more likely) my memory is tricking me and I’ve been working with MediBang Paint Pro or I’ve just left the computer running between sessions when I thought it preserved brush sizes. Obtusity reflects: Hmm, doing the same for me.

Just thought I’d mention since I’m not sure how OP is changing the settings! It always resets for me if I just change settings under Brush Control (Windows 64bit here), but changes take if I actually go into Edit Brush. I assumed it was just a problem with FA since Medibang doesn’t do it. I’m running 64-bit and it does the same thing. I’ve only seen this with 32-bit Windows 8, so I’d like to know if you are running anything else - please add it as a comment to this post. Try right-clicking on the FireAlpaca icon and choosing Run As Administrator to start it. This usually indicates FireAlpaca cannot write to the configuration files when you close the program (it saves settings as it closes).
